Approach

Therapy is a collaborative process where you should feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and focused on your unique experiences, values, and goals. Together, we’ll explore patterns, gain insight, and develop practical skills to help you move forward with confidence. Therapy isn’t just about immediate symptom relief—it’s about creating lasting change, building self-compassion, and strengthening emotional resilience.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to meet clients’ needs. A hallmark of evidence-based treatment is helping clients find a balance between acceptance and change. Acceptance-based skills help with acknowledging your current reality, even when it's difficult, without resisting it. Change involves taking proactive steps toward the life you want, based on your core values. The key is balance—too much focus on acceptance can leave you feeling stuck, while too much emphasis on change can create dissatisfaction and feel like it’s ‘not good enough.’ Our work together will help you find the balance, develop skills for accepting emotions, and take meaningful steps forward.

We’ll also focus on reconnecting with your values. When you're clear on what matters most, you can take action even in the face of discomfort, creating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. The goal is to build psychological flexibility, helping you stay aligned with your values while navigating life’s challenges.

Evidence-Based Treatments Offered

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. Through structured exercises, we work on shifting negative thinking and developing healthier, more adaptive ways of responding to challenges.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is the gold standard for treating OCD and anxiety disorders. We gradually expose you to feared thoughts or situations in a controlled, supportive way while reducing compulsions or avoidance behaviors, helping you regain a sense of control.

Attachment-Focused Therapy

Attachment-focused therapy focuses on exploring how early relationships and attachment experiences shape your emotional well-being and relationships today. We work together to identify patterns from past relationships that may be affecting your current emotional responses and relationship dynamics, helping you build healthier, more secure connections.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT is particularly helpful for those struggling with emotional sensitivity, distress tolerance, and relationship challenges. We focus on mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance to help you build a life that feels more stable and fulfilling.

Executive Functioning(EF) Coaching

Many clients struggle with organization, time management, and task initiation. I offer structured, evidence-based strategies to enhance focus, improve productivity, and create sustainable habits that support your success in work, school, and daily life.

Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) & Trauma-Informed Care

For those who have experienced trauma, including Complex-PTSD, I provide a safe, validating space to process your experiences while teaching grounding techniques, emotional regulation skills, and cognitive restructuring to reduce trauma-related distress. My trauma-informed approach ensures we move at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT focuses on accepting difficult emotions while committing to actions that align with your values. We work on mindfulness skills, cognitive defusion (stepping back from intrusive thoughts), and building psychological flexibility so you can engage in life with greater ease.

Parent Coaching

Parenting comes with unique challenges, especially when navigating emotional sensitivity, anxiety, and behavioral concerns in children. I provide structured coaching based on research-backed strategies that help parents foster connection, set effective limits, and support their child’s emotional development.

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

IPT is designed to help you improve your relationships by identifying and addressing interpersonal issues, such as conflict, role transitions, or grief, that may contribute to emotional distress. We focus on building communication skills, increasing social support, and helping you navigate life changes with more confidence and less emotional strain.
